The Three Morrigans

The Morrigan or great queen appears in Three Forms, Morrigan, Macha and Badhbh. Respresenting Soveriegnity, Land, Fate and Guardienship, Badbh apperars as a crow during battle, confusing the enemy and influencing the outcome to protect her chosen people. The Morrigan (meaning great queen) is known to appear to warriors before battle, washing blood from their clothes...this is a portent of their impending death. Macha is known for doling out justice and cursing those who do wrong to vunerable people.
