An Cailleach, divine hag, creator deity, Architype, revered and feared here in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of man. My image depicts her in a trinity form. She is associated with creation, landscape formation and the weather. For me, she represents the feminine energy of creation and chaos, motherhood and she makes me think on the modern phenomenom of the overlooked elder women, almost feared, her wisdom wasted, and her power untapped. Here she is with Cormorants and Gannets, bringer of life and death.
